‘Being Neuro Divine and finding my superpower’

Singing, Music and Natural Health have always been central to my life. I’ve been a healing therapist since 1999 and a singer since I could speak. And if you know me, you know I love to chat!

 

Without having done my own 'inner healing work', I wouldn’t be the performer and singer I am today. I had some old insecurities and beliefs I needed to deal with; Reiki and EFT (tapping) changed my world and how I see it.

 

In my late twenties just before the millenium, I came back to England after living in the USA for some time. My world had fallen apart on all levels, including love, career and home. I had a mental and physical break-down which ended up with me in hospital, where I nearly died.

My mum introduced me to Reiki the following year. It was before the internet was easily available, so I had no idea what it was? I just trusted mum and the energy, so I went down to Dorset from London to attend the weekend training.

​

I remember spending the entire weekend crying! They were tears of relief, joy and stored pain. I said to my Reiki Teacher, Annabel,

​

"I really needed this last year"

​

Annabel replied with something so profound, that it has has stuck in my mind to this day,

​

"You were'nt ready for this last year; you're ready now!"

​

I learned in that moment, that everything comes to you with divine timing, even when you think you know better, or want it now.

​

My healing journey had begun, and I was ready to start tackling some of the pain from my past that I was disconnected from. I went on to become a Reiki Master Teacher, and felt like I had finally come home to myslef.

​

I continued to travel the world, exploring and training in different healing techniques.

I first stumbled across EFT in Thailand whilst on a detox cleansing retreat. The 1:1 sessions I had allowed me to access parts of myself so fast, parts that I’d hidden away so deeply. I knew then that I’d found a missing piece to my healing tool-kit. Once back in the UK, I signed up for an EFT practitioner course as soon as possible.

EFT and Reiki have transformed my life in so many positive ways, If I had known these techniques when I was a child, my world would have been so much easier to navigate

​

It took me some time to connect with being ‘Neuro Divine’. I always felt different for having OCD and Dyslexia. I realise now, it’s my superpower, allowing me to see the world in a different and beautiful way.

 

In my 40’s I went for it and broke down the barriers I’d created to finally allow myself to shine. I released my music and it's been played on BBC Radio including Radio 6 Music.

I want to inspire others to follow their dreams too!

​

I'm passionate about connecting and healing all the parts of ourselves. Inner child healing is what brings more self-love and acceptance.

​

Facing my fears gave me the courage to give my music the chance it deserved. After my first post-performance euphoria, my singer-self had a good old chat with my therapist-self and decided we could use this formula to help others free themselves and unlock their true potential.

 

It’s never too late to go for your dreams. And for goodness sake, don’t listen to those negative voices that say you can’t.

 

It’s nonsense. You absolutely can!
